Irelands oldest and most active surf club
T-Bay Surf Club is Ireland’s longest established (1967) and largest club with over 250 active members, including 150 junior members. Since 1998 the Club boasts the best national facilities through a beachfront award-winning purpose-built surf centre, including male/female changing rooms, training room, meeting rooms, storage centre and observation area.

Something for everybody
The club runs a series of events each year, including Junior Surf Training, where our younger surfers benefit from the dedicated direction of qualified voluntary coaches. For older new members, who have not surfed previously, the club provides masters classes from our most experienced coaches.

Surfing community
T-Bay picks up a surprising amount of quality surf throughout the year, helping to produce some of Ireland’s top competitive and free surfers. The centre has a permanent display of the history of Irish Surfing, including classic photos and also unique memorabilia relating to the development of the sport here on Irish shores. To improve the ‘surf experience’ for the community, the club organises open sufing event such as The Bay calls the Day, Legends Ball, and Irish Surfing Junior Tour events. T-Bay also hasts a café where young and old can enjoy their favourite refreshments.
